For my first genre, I wrote a game script for a game that I wish to make in the future. I chose this as my first genre as I believed it would be the hardest and the longest genre that I would have to do. This relates to my topic as it is apart of the game making process in most game development firms and even with indie designers as many games have interesting and engaging stories. Not to mention that most levels in video games have some kind of script to them, much like a scene from a movie or a tv show.

My second genre was my second interview with Jeff Lind of Gazillion Entertainment. I chose this as my second genre as I believed he had some really good insight into the gaming industry and I believed he would be able to help me come up with more ideas for my project. This relates to my topic because Gazillion Entertainment is the firm behind Marvel Heroes Online and Jeff is one of the lead designers of the game.

My third genre was a game progress journal. I chose this because most developers keep track of the progress they made while their making their video game. They record both the good parts of the process as well as the bad, such as errors or even accidental asset deletion. This relates to my topic because I will be doing what other developers have done while I make my own game.

My fourth genre piece was a playtesting session with some questions for those who tested my game. This was chosen as most games are actually playtested by people who are unfamiliar with the game and who aren't apart of actually making the game. This relates to my topic for the reason previously stated.

My fifth and final genre was a result analysis of the playtest and the questionnaire. I chose this because I felt an analysis of the results would have to be separate from the actual play test and questionnaire. This relates to my topic as it tells me what those I had test my game felt about the game and what I should add or removed from the game.
